Passion
Godelieve Schrama graduated from the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague at the age of twenty. As arecipient of a scholarship from the Dutch Performing Arts Fund and a nominee for the Dutch Music Prize, she was given the opportunity to continue her studies with Germaine Lorenzini, one of the most renowned harp teachers in the world. For four years, she had intensive private lessons each month with Lorenzini in Lyon, France.

From 1998-2001 Schrama taught at the Conservatory of Rotterdam. Schrama was appointed professor of harp at the Hochschule für Musik in Detmold, Germany in 2001 and is now passing on her own knowledge to new generations of harpists. In addition, she regularly gives masterclasses and adjudicates at international competitions.
